Bromsar: fotbroms för dessa cyklar är fotbroms inte bästa lösningen då dom är underdimensionerat. Det går dock att leverera. Vi skulle rekommendera att ha hydrauliska bromsar bak på varje hjul. (Det är bättre än en. Och det är bättre än fotbroms när det gäller bromseffekten.)

Parkeringsbroms: Kan finns både fram och bak. Bättre med två parkeringsbromsar än med en.

Fotplatta: Ska ni cyklar med olika brukare ska ni nog ha fotplatta för att undvika att folk måste spänna fast fötterna i pedalerna även om dom inte trampar.
Här finns det också fotplattor som sitter mer permanent och man behöver verktyg för, eller sådana som låter fälla ut sig. Vi skulle tipsa om det senare. Om man är ut med någon och cyklar och den personen tappar lusten så kan hen sitta som på en vanlig stol då.
Det finns tillbehör till standardpedaler i form av just fixering. Inte alla är så starka att kunna hålla fötterna på pedalerna. Ännu ett tillbehör som är lämplig här när ni har olika brukare är att kunna plocka av dessa fotfästen utan verktyg (och med få handgrepp). Vi kallar det för snabbfästen till fotfästen.

Belysning: både batteridrivna och sådana som är kopplat till motorn fungerar lika bra och är säkra. Men är belysningen kopplad till motorbatteriet är det en till grej som personalen inte behöver tänka på (vanligtvis är det så att även om man råkade kör tomt på batteriet så finns det en reserv kvar där för belysningen).

Elsystem. Gör utvärderingen efter räckvidden på cykeln per laddning. Det kan vara väldigt olika i realistiska förhållande. Men en siffra att hänga upp det på är batterikapacitet. Som anges i Ah eller Wh. Vi brukar säga att med 11Ah som kommer man med en sådan cykel 4-5 mil under realistiska förhållande. Mer är alltid bra. Mindre borde ni nästan inte acceptera för då går cykeln knappt att använda.
Vid mycket branda backar gör även placeringen av motorn en skillnad. Har du en motor i framhjulet kan det vara så att hjulen blir för lätt och börjar snurrar. I så fall vill man ha att motorn heller driver på bakaxeln där lasten sitter (och tramporna också driver). Men är det lite lagom terräng är det inte någon större skillnad mellan motordrift fram och bak.

Längden på garanti är viktig. Det säger ju också lite hur mycket tillverkaren själv litar på sin produkt.

GPS Live Tracking
If an alarm has been triggered on your bike and your bike continues to move, the Live Tracking mode will start. You can use the I LOCK IT app to see where your bike is currently located.

Your I LOCK IT regularly receives its current position via GPS and transmits it via the mobile network to your smartphone. This works with I LOCK IT GPS even across borders across Europe.

Proximity Positioning Feature
However, GPS technology also has its limitations. An exact location can vary between 10 – 100 meters. To find your bike, for example, in a large area with many storage options, the Proximity positioning feature is used.

Thanks to the Bluetooth connection, I LOCK IT app tells you whether you are approaching your bike or on the wrong track.

Acoustic Signal Function
You have reached the location of your bike, but you can not see it anywhere? Use the acoustic signal function with the I LOCK IT app.

This causes I LOCK IT GPS to emit a 110 dB sound.

I LOCK IT GPS

I LOCK IT GPS combines all the practical functions of I LOCK IT classic and I LOCK IT+ and extends them for even more security.

The electronic bike lock offers the practical automatic mode. This detects when you approach or remove yourself. The closing or opening process then happens automatically. The whole process is supported by the patent-pending DSA-system (dynamic spoke avoidance system). Thus, the locking bolt goes past each spoke.

In addition to the comfortable functions, I LOCK IT GPS also has safety at its heart: the integrated 3D motion sensors detect every theft attempt and activate the 110 dB loud alarm to scare the thief. In addition, you will receive a notification in real-time on your smartphone, no matter where you are.

GPS Live Tracking

And if a thief does not let go of your bike despite the alarm, then you can easily follow the current location of your bike via your smartphone.

The free I LOCK IT app is used to control I LOCK IT GPS. In addition to the automatic mode, this can also be used to manage the smart alarm, the sounds, the logbook, the emergency code or the “share with friends” function.

The integrated rechargeable battery has enough energy for a cycling season and warns you in time via the I LOCK IT app about a low battery charge.

I LOCK IT GPS comes with a tracking service consisting of the tracking functionality in the I LOCK IT App, the GPS tracking server and the mobile data. This tracking service is free for you for 2 years after the purchase of I LOCK IT GPS.

I LOCK IT+ is the electronic bike lock, which combines smart features for maximum bicycle safety. It detects by means of a Bluetooth 4.0 connection when you approach or walk away and unlocks|locks automatically.

Thanks to the dynamic spoke avoidance system (DSA system), the locking bolt passes each spoke. I LOCK IT+ closes reliably and without manual correction of the wheel.

Integrated 3D motion sensors detect a theft attempt and the integrated 110 dB loud alarm is activated. The smart alarm can do even more: If there is an accidental impact on your bike, then I LOCK IT+ will respond with a three-time warning sound – the pre-alarm.

The free I LOCK IT app is used to control I LOCK IT+ In addition to the automatic mode, this can also be used to manage the smart alarm, the sounds, the logbook, the emergency code or the “share with friends” function.

The key fob+ is an alternative to the smartphone.

Just open and close your I LOCK IT+ manually with the touch of a button – just like the car key.

The special feature: With the key fob+ a simultaneous use of key fob+ and smartphone is possible. You can therefore use both devices at any time, since no change is necessary. Twice as easy.

Thanks to its status LED, the key fob+ reliably informs you about the connection to your I LOCK IT+, as well as about warnings, e.g. in case of a theft attempt. In addition, the key fob+ also gives you an audible feedback and notifies you in the event of an alarm by a signal tone. The notification range extends up to 100 m, depending on the environmental conditions.

The battery life of the key fob+ is up to one year. Please note that the battery life depends on your usage behavior.
